Great Palm OS™ software. Everything else is irrelevant.

Welcome to "Time is Money" a.k.a. Work Wolf.

Productivity is important. It's also important to make it easy to keep track of how we spend our time and how our activities are planned. Perhaps keeps some notes too.

But who is this for?

Pretty much everyone else with a Palm OS 3.5 or above supported handheld. The things you can do are

Freeware version

Work Wolf is a simple, but effective solution to keeping track of your day to day activities. It gives enough features to classify your work, and also makes it very simple so you don't have to do much to start a new task. Conceptually the product can be far more complex with a huge set of feature - but this is not intended to be so. The aim is to let you keep track of how you spend your time - without having to do to many things!

How can people use this?

  • Use it like a record of tasks being done - and time keeping for each task
  • Use it to analyze how you spend your day or if you're spending too much unproductive time
  • Use it like a diary! add notes to your tasks. This is one simple diary.

Features

  • Allows only a total of 50 activities. Beyond that records at the bottom will be purged automatically.
  • add notes to any activity - it shows as a "*" so you know you had notes
  • At the most basic level a SINGLE tap is enough to start the default "working" (just click OK without doing anything else to start an entry "working" with productivity set to true)
  • Very simple to start an activity and stop it
  • Ability to quickly classify a task as productive and/or important. On color the productive tasks are shown in green, and important ones in red. This makes it very effective in glancing at how your day/week etc went
  • Ability to purge records you do not want to keep
  • A nice, big counter that "ticks" to show how much time you have spent in the current task

Paid version (coming)

  • All features of shareware
  • infinite activities can be tracked
  • ability to set an alarm when you start a task so you can be reminded (very handy)
  • See very useful statistics of usage patterns
  • See statistics analysis in graphs! cool
  • free upgrades

Tap on the event screen to bring up a notes form where you can add/edit a short note to the event. Very useful in adding some additional info that you can later read about.

If a note is added, the asterisk * indicates there is a note against the entry.

Shows the entire record database and provides facilities to purge unwanted records. Click on the checkbox to remove a specific record.
Shows how you can purge the database. You can either purge record by record by clicking a check box - or choose a date range and remove. This will be made more flexible depending on user feedback.
